HE Garrett T. Brownings, 5770 N. Pennsylvania St., are taking two extremes for their summer vacation. While Mr. and Mrs. Browning and Sue Anne, their daughter, are swimming in Au-She-Gun Resort, Lake Leelanau,
Mich., Marthene and Jim, also their.children, are ice skating at the University of Michigan. Besides Lake Leelanau, the Brownings will spend part of their vacation in Traverse City “and Lansing, Mich, n ” 5 AN OFFICE is more than an office when Al Hendricks, Berkeley Rd., gets into it. Mr. Hendricks, manager of the Indiana Theater, has just about transformed his desk room into a wardrobe closet. Times State Service CAMP. ATTERBURY, Aug. 22 — Camp Atterbury: Officers Wives Club will give a fashion show and tea jn the Post Officers Club Sept. 19 honoring Mrs. Hobart R. Gay, wife of Maj. Gen. Gay, new post and 6th Corps commander at Camp Atterbury. Mrs. E. J, McGaw, wife of Gen. McGaw, commanding general of the 6th Corps Artillery, Camp Carson, Colo, was a special guest at the August luncheon-meeting of the club.
