WASHINGTON, July 29 (UP)—A walkout of 15,000 workers which had been threatened for midnight tonight was averted when the Aluminum Company of ‘America and the CIO Steelworkers settled! their dispute. |

Wage Stabilization Board Chairman Nathan P. Feinsinger late yesterday announced the agreement which provides for a 21.4-cent-an-hour wage increase for employees at 10 company plants, including one in Richmond, Ind.

The settlement ends a six months dispute and wipes out a threatened strike that would have cut off 25 per cent of the nation’s aluminum production.

The agreement came during last-ditch talks with Mr. Feinsinger. He said the parties settled two final issues involving job inequalities and North-South differ-
