A plane carrying three 2000-pound bombs with the new shape can fly 50 miles per hour faster than the same plane carry{ing three of the old 2000-pound bombs. Fuel tanks of the Navy's {new F3D -Skynight jet fighters, also formed to this shape, are undergoing flight testing.
