at his drawing board putting his 5 dreams on paper.
“When I first stafted drawing in kindergarten,” he said, “I just = ° filled the whole page with crayon marks. But when I got a little iolder I started getting ideas for cartoons.”
Jimmy was born in Detroit and 1s’ now living with his grand‘mother, Mrs. Sadie Hobbs, at 1727 N. Alabama St. His mother is a nurse in Detroit and plans © to move to Indianapolis so Jimmy can go to school here, * “My daddy was an artist,” Jimmy said. “It was his hobby, He used to decorate the house with pictures and cartoons he made.
