The home for this week looks more like the vine-covered cottage type which so many people like and yet it is more efficiently planned than its older predecesgors. The exterior, while" designed of brick, ‘would - be attractive if made of horizontal wood siding. | The nice front porch, which could = be screened in, is another feature o dear to the hearts of many Amer- | fcans, Inside, there is a coat closet and vestibule which leads’ to the pleasant oblong living room. From this room there is an open arch to the dining room which | ¢ould have French doors instead of the windows. There is a china ¢loset in this room and the door leading to the kitchen. This area is very efficiently planned to save steps; and the ¢ corner sink with windows on both gides adds to its cheerfulness. The service entrance and the gtairs leading to the full basement are off this room. The basement extends under the entire house and there is as much room there as there is on the first floor.
