Fourth of July week end It was sharply divided and travelers.
Arthella and Frank Fishback went to ‘the Perry O’'Neals at Lake Maxinkuekee, and Ruth Holliday was there with Carolyn and #™ Harvey Brad- § ley. Eleanor and Otto Frenzel were in Michigan on their holiday, keeping a rendezvous at Bear Island with > Janet and Fritz and Isa- BOY Atkins bel and Lyman Ayres. The Garvin Browns were in Leland with Mr, and Mrs. Bowman Elder. Most of the people in town managed to see the fireworks in the Butler Bowl either on the spot or from a neighboring yard. We took our stand at Charles and Carolyn Culps’ and for once wished that their beautiful trees had not grown to such heights. w . » ELINOR AND Lorenz Schmidt had parents and children in their yard. With them were the Eli Messengers, the John Watsons and the Niven Stalls. ; The Schmidts are ‘greatly attached to their 52d and Graceland location and finding their present house too small, have bought one just across the
street. The moving fever that rose.

A spectacular Fouth of July decoration was a center of interest.
