The Kellys recently returned from Europe where they purchased more poodles — undoubtedly prize ones. - » - IT ISN'T ALWAYS TRUE that late out-of-town party invitations are made merely out of formality. The William MecMillans learned that recently when they received a call from Marion. Friends of theirs were in the midst of a party and decided it would be nicer if the McMillans joined them and brought a girl for the extra bachelor there. Mrs. McMillan explained they had no car and couldn't possibly get there so late. Quickly, the hosts said “Why not fly down.” After she hung up, Mrs. McMillan gave it no furthér thought until she had visitors. It seems the party group really wanted their company so chartered a plane, came to Indianapolis, picked up the guests and flew them back after the event. That's living fast, - = - MRS. ROSALYN ANTHONY, Homestead Dr, has decided never to carry tales about people again. Yesterday, while idly sitting around in her home with some friends, she repeated a

“horrible” experience one of her neighbors had recently. This neighbor had been invited to a pool chistening party and the hostess’ pool, still in the making stage, had a completely muddy bottom. Instead of a water bath, guests got mud pack treatments. Finally, Mrs. Anthony added, “What a horrible person that woman must have been to make her guests swim in a filthy mud hole.” Quietly. listening to her said, “I didn’t ask them to go swimming. When I invited the girls, I told them it would be a pool christening and merely meant to have them sit by the wa . » ” MR. AND MRS. BILL HARDEN, 9000 Westfleld Rd., are camping out these days despite the fact they own a ranch home. The Hardens moved into their newly-built house last week, spent one night inside and moved outdoors after that. By using the excess screening left by the builders, Mr. Harden set four poles into the ground and covered them with the wire protection. Two cots were placed within this covered area and the Hardens moved into their new sleeping quarters. But they won't be there for long. The couple is planning a vacation in Cuba next week. The way the heat affects them, it seems more logical if they'd head in the opposite direction.
