Ellis E. Carroll, acting director |
of the Indianapolis Newsboys Band, died in his home yesterday at 115 N, Badler Dr. Mr. Carroll, who was 41, was a graduate of Butler University. He was appointed assistant band director in 1938 and became acting director three months ago on the illness of Director J. B. Vandaworker. ‘He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Amerjcan Federation of Musicians and the Irvington Methodist Church. Services at 10 a. m, Wednesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill
