Local Truckman Rescued Nurse
A heroic Indianapolis truck driver will be honored tomorrow for saving the life of an Army nurse in a February highway crash near Brazil, Rodger W. Gullans, 4547 Fletcher Ave. will receive an award; at Ft. Wayne as "Driver of the Month,” an honor for which he was noniinated by the Indiana Motor Truck Association. Mr. Gullans dived into ley waters of a creek four miles east of Brazil to pull Army Nurse Barbara Kenworthy, Columbus, 0., from her flooded car. Miss Kenworthy lost control of the auto and plunged into the creek early Feb. 2, State police reports said Mr. ° Gullan's action saved the nurse from possible drowning. Awards for Four Others Four other Hoosier truck drivers also will receive awards. Clarence Myers, Terre .Haute will be honored for driving a loaded gasoline truck from the scene of a fire, preventing a pos-
