Max L. Stackhouse, 16, Warsaw, was elected governor of In-
diana yesterday on the Federalist ticket by some 400 high school juniors attending the 15th annual Boys' State session here.
Max, who represented Ft. Wayne, where he lived until recently, plans to follow his father and become a Methodist minister, Two Crawfordsville youths, Dave Gentry and Dave Grubbs, both Nationalists, were elected Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of State, respectively.

Friess, Ft. Wayne, Treasurer; Gene White, Lebanon, Attorney General, and Cornelius White, Indianapolis, Superintendent of Public Instruction.

were Norman Wilkens, Paul D'Arcy, both Indianapolis; Keith Barnett, Luke Carrabine, both Gary, and Curt Hockett, Anderson. : Bob Weist, Don Griffith, both Princeton; Tom Sheppard, Indianapolis; Floyd Munson, Lafayette, and Jim Ault, Anderson, were chosen as judges for the Appellate Court.

ette, and Jim Dressler, Brazil, were named clerk and reporter, respectively, for the Supreme and Appellate Courts. Gov. Stackhouse, the Federalist ticket, defeated his Nationalist opponent, Donald J. Boveri, 17, of Lafayette. The vote was 203 to 195.
