Strike Closes Atkins Saw Works Here

700 Steelworkers Demand Pay Hike

workers and office employees shut down the E. C. Atkins

Co. saw works, 402 S. Illinois today.

E. C. Atkins, company president, said the plant, which employs 808 persons, was closing down.
