Attucks Girls To Model

Students from three Crispus Attucks classes will model clothes at the school's 7:30 p. m. Wednesday fashion show, The event will be sponsorad by the clothing classes of Attucks’ evening division. “In the Good Ole Summertime” will be the theme of the subdeb fashion show to be given in Ayres’ Auditorium Saturday. Performances will be at 12:30 and 2:30 p. m. Local high school girls will model the clothes and all types will be" shown, from bathing suits to evening wear. Also at Ayres’ will be a showing of McKettrick fashfons on May 13. The new summer collection of this budget designer will be modeled -informally all day in the Meridian Shop on the second floor. . .

Times Special CINCINNATI, May 5 — The League ‘of Women Voters set out today on a two-year program to promote domestic economy and world security ‘with a budget of $210,000 to help do the. job. The 1000 delegates adopted the program Saturday before adjourning their 20th biennial convention. The budget was the largest in League’ s history. Officers a roved at Thursday's Ss Pvt introduced, including Mrs. John G. Lee, who was re-elected president for 1952-54; Mrs. Robert F. Leonard, Washington, first vice president; Mrs. Waldo Stephens, Oklahoma City, Okla. second vice president; Mrs. Walter Neale, New York, secretary, and Mrs. F. W. Hopkins, Highland Park, N. J., treasurer. The League will probably hold its next national meeting in Denver, Col.
