Denny °St., tailored dress, and Mrs. Schafer, afternoon dress.

Design Group. All first prize winners will receive $50 in cash and their entries will be sent to New York for judging in the National Sewing Contest. Second prize winners will receive $20. Ni td » WINNERS OF THE National Sewing Contest will receive $200 in cash and an all-expense paid trip to New Work. National judging will take place May 20 and prizes will be awarded June 8-12 in New York.
Mrs. Scraper’s winners included a white net strapless formal over a taffeta slip with the bodice studded with beads and sequins which she made for her 13-year-old daughter, Roberta. Her original design was a green brocaded cottpn sport dress with rhinestone huttons down the front and trimming the shoulder tabs. Her winning afternoon dress had a green sheer cotton full skirt with a white drgandy bodice. Mrs, Scraper’s winning entry In the Children's Group was a three-piece. ensemble in size three of blue and white checked rayon suiting.
