Recreation Staffers To Go to School

A plan to get more recreation into the Park Department's recreation program will get underway tomorrow when about 40 key recreation superv¥sors start classes at Butler University. Six two-hour classes in recreation methods and selection of staff assistants have been scheduled by the Park Department. Expenses of the classes are being paid by the Downtown Kiwanis Club, J. R. Townsend, ipark superintendent, said. The course is part of an overall plan to get more recreation and less athletics into the park program and Was. ordered this year by Mayor Clark. ’
