Betty Furness, movie-TV-radio star, and Mrs. Henry Newman, world traveler, will speak to the Jewish Welfare Federation fund women workers Tuesday. Mrs. Newman will speak on her recent trip to Europe and Israel. A resident of Kansas City, Mo., she Is a member of the national women’s committee of the Jewish United Jewish Appeal.

Flying Priests

Nine Indiana priests are in Mexico City, flying there from Houston, Tex. after a religious convention. In the party are the Rev. Fathers Edward Bockhold, James Moriarity, Robert Hartman, Albert Busald, James Moore and Joseph Grothaus, all of Indlanapolis; the Rev. Fr. Charles Sexton, Martinsville; the Rev. Fr. Joseph Bastnagel and the Rev. Fr. Pierre Brisse, Evansville.
