Times State Service | VINCENNES, Apr. 25 Three ravenously ‘hungry prisoners who! escaped from a Michigan state prisan camp Tuesday were back in police custody today, ® The three fugitives -— still dressed in their prison garb, complete with numbers — were arrested here last night by a police car making ‘a routine traffic check. Julietta Study | Group Proposed
A full time study committee for the Marion County Home at Julietta was proposed by Robert R. Hamilton, candidate for the GOP nomination for County Commissioner, in a speech at a Wayne Township Republican meeting last night. - Mr. Hamilton said he found many evils at Julietta during an! inspection of the institution as foreman of the grand jury last year. = “Our county Commissioners in the past have been too interested in playing politics to provide proper supervision of Julietta,” he said. “A permanent group is needed to establish a continuing program of supervision and inspection of the institution.” Mr, Hamilton said if elected Commissioner he would create a study group to improve ‘conditions at Julietta.
