ANCHORMAN-—Shortridge's Bob Bruce, state half-mile champion, probably will anchor the Blue Devil two-mile relay team in the eighth annual Indianapolis Relays at Tech Friday at 2 p.m. Shorfridge set a two-mile record of 8:34.1 in the Howe Invitational Relays. The Indianapolis Relays record is 8:26.6, set by Ft. Wayne North Side last year. Shortridge, winner of the first section two-mile event, will vie with Ft. Wayne in the second section this year. Six city teams, Lawrence and Warren Central will join Bloomington, Frankfort, Jeff and defending champion North Side.
