I™ LL BE a bright future, as far as fashion is concerned.

And if Dick Bartlett has anything to say about it, ' women can start looking forward to this luminous touch

on a 24-hour a day basis, It all started when Dick got

hold of one of his sister's strap-

less dresses. He couldn't understand why all that wiring shouldn’t be put to ultimate use, Consequently, he started rewiring the frock attaching the ends of the metal supporters to a battery. 2 Can't you see future ads reading, “A new gaparkling you.” (Incidentally, it didn't work.)

~ ~ " THE BRUCE CO. SAVAGES don’t have to bark about pooling honors in their family. Penny came home this past week end from a swimming meet in Louisville, carrying first place honors in the 12 and under class. Meanwhile, Bally and her two West Highland Terriers returned from Dayton, O. adding their bit to the family pride. The dogs won top honors in the puppy class, 1f this goes on much longer, the Savages will have to build a special trophy Jom,

be kept at a minimum low. At least, there's no need for the females in the house to run to the beauty parlor for constant repairs, That is, if they agree to the system suggested by the Bill Stouts. When Mrs, Stout came home with tresses cut to an inch length, husband Bill immedi-

ately got the idea of investing

in some hair equipment, He trims her hair every other week and she, in exchange, cuts his locks. So they lack the professional touch but they certainly are the heighth of fashion after they've finished with their scissors operations. Friends call them “Toni Twins.”
