Two pistol packing burglary, ' suspects were nabbed by police {last night on the roof of a pawn-| {shop after a brief but spirited gun | fight. Patrolman Alvie Emmelman, climbed to the roof of Harry's Loan Co., 2458 Martindale Ave. {in the face of the gun-wielding man who. fired a shot at close range, but missed. : Officer Emmeiman returned fire andthe two suspects dropped their weapons, one gun falling from the roof to the street. The officers were sent to the pawnshop by a radio call from headquarters. A passerby had spotted the two, and told police from the roof of the one-story building to the street, Arrested were Jesse E. Roland, 24, of 2064 Columbia Ave. who police said fired the shot, and Edward R, Hanson, 28, of 1212 E. 19th 8t. Roland was treated for an eye injury after his arrest, Both were held on preliminary charges of burglary.
