Sa j Traditional Fete LONDON, Apr. 10 (UP)— Queen Elizabeth II performed the! first public duty of her reign today by distributing the traditional “Maundy Money” to the poor —a gesture of humility which Britain's rulers have observed through the centuries. She drove with the Duke of Edinburgh to Westminster Abbey, where a crowd of 5000 cheered her. The Dean of Westminster, with a bouquet of spring flowers in his hand, met the royal couple at the gate of the abbey and escorted them into the old church, where an invited audience of more than 1000 took part in the religious
