For Times Spelling Bee Winner
A Zenith Super Trans-, Oceanic portable radio worth $130.50 has been added to the
prizes for the grammar school pupil who wins the championship in The Times Spelling Bee, The spelling bee starts with preliminaries the week of Apr. 13 —only a week away—at 19 commiunity centers throughout Indianapolis. Contests are now being staged by students in the Marion County school system to select two township winners to complete in the semifinals May 8 in the Indiana World War Memoral auditorium.
