HARLES SHOEMAKER, The Times’ Teen of the : Week, is president of the senior class and the senior council at Shortridge High School. He hopes to study civil engineering after graduation.

To Take Trip

A trip to the Harrison Memorial Home will be a feature of the meeting of the Irvington Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, at 1 p. m. Thursday. Members will meet in the home of Mrs. Charles E. Alwes, 3533 Watson Rd. Winners of the citizenship contest from Howe, Technical, New Palestine, Greenfield and Warren Central High Schools and their mothers will be guests. After a short meet ing the group will leave for the home. Mrs. Walter Woodworth will give the historical background. Assistant hostesses at the meeting will be Mesdames Alyie T.
