As such he will be in one sense be a quasiagent of the Japanese Government, in that his troops also are Japan's defense forces, That is a full-time job in itself, Moreover, some feel here that the Japanese, when their sovereignty is restored, would resent their inclusion in an “area” theater, along with Okinawa and Guam.
