Standefer is charged with violating the 1947 law requiring insurance companies to register with the state and automobile clubs to post $25,000 in cash or bond before operating in the state. Extradition Looms Prosecutor Fairchild said warrants have been sent to Kansas City for‘ Standefer and to St. Louis for Tucker. He will attempt to extradite them to face

the charges here.

Mr, Fairchild. said the club was reported to have begun operations here in January, 1951, and set up headquarters at 5376 E. Washington St. The club also operates in 11 cities in four other states. Mr. Fairchild said he had received six complaints. personally from club members who wanted to know if they “eduld get their money back. He said the Better Business Bureau had received 20 complaints ih the past Standefer faces a possible maximum fine of $1000. The other four men are subject to fines of $25 to $100 upon conviction.
