Suppose, Mr. Abel does hold the queen with one or
two other hearts. If you play to the ace, as Mr. Muzzy did, and r n the ten, the queen will cover and you must play your king. Thus you would be forced to play two of your heart honors on one trick and the nine in Mr, Champion’s hand would stop the suit. If Mr. Abel held the queen and at least three other hearts, he would simply let the ten win. As dummy would have no more hearts to lead through, the guarded queen would stop the suit, .
