Beards Stuff King's Mattress
A mattress stuffed with mustaches and beards doesn't exactly seem like supreme com- < fort to us: but Ludwig I, king of Baravia, evidently thought so. His mattress filling was
provided by the mustaches and |
beards of his father's regiment. It might have been thought comfortable in those days, but no doubt the king was the only
one who boasted such a mat. |
tress, Of much more comfort are our innerspring mattresses of today, and one needn't be a king to be able to afford one, either,

Incense a ‘Must’ For Orientals
It is doubtful if many Americans could go to sleep with a heavy incense aroma in thes room, but to the Orientals, At is a “must” because of” its soporific values.
We achieve the safne effect, however, with a gtght perfume or toilet water 4n our baths or sprinkled lightly on our sheets. ‘There id nothing eccentric about the person who likes to make’ sleep attractive and appedling—and there is no better
Way to go about this than to
have good, comfortable bedding and a buoyant ' pillow. Without this basic equipment for good sleep, all the tricks in the trade will be of no avail.
