” ” o INDIANAPOLIS may be able {0 lay claim to a noted playwright] in the near future—if present indications mean anything. Andrew Duggan, ¥dward Duggan and the late Mr. Duggan, formerly of Delaware St. here, has broken into the magic circle of authors, with a play to be enacted Monday. on “Video Theater.” Cousin of Hugh O'Donnell, Times staff member, Duggan is a graduate of Indiana University, where he majored in. dramatics. He lived for a time both in Whiteland; Ind., and in this city. Duggan’s home has been in New York for several years now. He has been appearing in various TV productions while writ< ing on the side. He has taken part in several “Video Theater” productions and was seen as a newsman on “The First Hundred Years,” daily show on Channels 6 and 10 at 1:30 p. m. His play, “The Promise”, will star Thomas Mitchell and may be seen at 7 p. m. Monday on Channel 6.

gionals tomorrow from 12:45 p. m. until they end. On the listening side we have WIRE, WISH, WIBC, WXLW and WAJC-FM all broadcasting from the field house.

n ” n LOCAL youngsters who have been wondering what happened to “Howdy Doody” at 4:30 p. m. on Channel 10 won't get a very satisfactory answer. To WTTV “Captain Video” looked like it would have more appeal—and perhaps it does. to some of the older children. But to tiny tots “Doody” had a magical on

like eternity—actually, about five seconds-—Bond, in the best heman manner, yelled, “Where's

my breakfast?” The maid got the cue. “Playhouse” is seen on Channel 6 at 8 p. m. this evening. A delayed version appears on Channel 10 at 10 p. m, on Sunday. o ” o GET FED up with TV commercials?
