1 Love Them When I Marry Them,’ Says Blond Seeking 12th Divorce
HOUSTON, Mar. 1 (UP) — A 39-year-old" platinum blond filed suit for her 12th divorce here today and said she'd be man-hunting again when the divorce is granted. : :
Though she disclaimed any effort at establishing a world's record, Mrs. Betty Calamusa admitted she was rapidly becoming the most divorced womarr in the world. But she insisted she married “for love,” not for records. : In her string of 10. husbands—she married of them twice--were an FBI agent, a hotel man, a shoe salesman, an undertaker and an assortment of men with other occupations. “All my husbands have been good looking men who made a good living, but they were all. too jealous.” Mrs. Calamusa explained seriously. . “When I'm walking down the-street with my htishand and another man exchanges a greetIng with. me, and my husband asks if I ever went put with the fellow, I'll say sure I have,” she said. "I-haven’t, but it just makes me angry when a man, Js jealous enough to ask that.” “I've -never trifled with any of my husbands. They'll tell you that. I :think most of them still love me.” In fact, the attractive Mrs. Calamusa said,
most of them still send her Christmas and birthday greetings. : x . Currently, Mrs. Calamusa is ‘trying? to free herself from a soft drinks route manager, Joseph Calamusa. Her petition alléged cruelty. He was one of the two-time spouses. Mrs Calamusa. who believes that “marriage is “still a wonderful institution;” made the first of
