Guest Artist Announced
Edwin Biltcliffe will he the guest artist at 7:30 p. m. Sunday when the- Prelude Club of Tudor Hall School . holds its annual guest artist meeting to mark the 50th anniversary of the school. Invitations have been sent to former officers and members of the club as well as Mrs, Dorothy = Merrill Ritter . who founded the club in 1933, and Mrs. B. O. Mitchell, ane of the first sponsors. Mesdames Sampson B. Moxley Jr,, Martin Synerholm, Irvin J. Craig, Eldon Alig, John L. Ryan, Willlam H, Failey, Philip Havens Brown and Donald Hollings, Misses Marjorie Flickinger, Dolores Covert and Harriett Fisher have accepted. Current officers are Martha Stacy, president;: Mary Ellen Rossin, vice president; Sally Alexander, secretary, and Lisa Miller, treasurer.
Mrs. Harry Wade To Give Lecture
‘Mrs. Harry V. Wade, member of the board of directors of the Herron Art Museum, will give .a special lecture in the museum at 4 p.m. Sunday for parents and teachers. Her subject will be" Introduction to seum.” She will tell about the program .of introducing children to painting, sculpture and decorative arts as exemplified in museum collections and touring exhibitions. More than 8000 city children were members of these tours in the past year.
