It isn't too late to make a special Valentine for a VIP (very

important person). If you want one which will really be a stopper, make it out of corks. You no doubt have corks right at your house, but if not, they can be purchased for a few.cents, *

If you would like to “say it with flowers,” why not make minia-

ture potted plants on your Valentine card by cutting a big cork stopper in two and letting half of it serve as a flower pot. Corks can be cut with a fine-toothed saw or a knife, but use care for ‘corks are rolly objects.

Now make the rest of the flower by painting it above the

“flowerpot” or cut it out of colorful material. Plan your verse or message as you go, so that' the flower will fit it, corks make good centers for daisies and black-eyed susans. Faces can be painted on them. “Cultivate” your love, and make it blos-som!—TOMORROW-—A Big Valentine for Little Pins.
