Your Community Chest reports progress for the past year. In 1951 ‘the 50 Red Feather organizations used the funds which 126,023 of you contributed to provide needed services to the people of Indianapolis and Marion County. In addition, Chest funds made the operation of our Service Men's Center a reality throughout the year.
The . campaign just concluded, under the chairmanship of William J. Stout, raised funds for the 50 Red Feather Services, including the United Defense Fund and the Cancer Society for 1952.

CHILDREN'S SERVICES—I18.3c out of each dollar were spent on children's services. New families for boys and girls from broken homes . ; . nursery day care of children of working parents . . . Chest dollars ovided these and many other services for 2,296
YOUNG PEOPLE'S SERVICES — 36.2¢c out of each * dollar were spent on young people's services. Citizenship training and wholesome recreation provided by Scouting, Boys' Clubs, Camp Fire work and neighborhood centers helped make better citizens of 45,352
