If you want facts and figures, I'll ask the Symphony office to mail them to you in plain wrapper. Operatling on a measly 200 grand or so Fabien Sevitzky's wildcats can {lick their weight in nearly all 500-grand budget outfits afloat. Listen and shop around. I could |name a few orchestras I find more exciting to hear, but look at the money they get. This is by way of plugging the Symphony's Maintenance Fund drive, which opens Monday, Feb. 4. It's a big deal, deserving of big support
