Again the home for this week can hardly be called ‘small’ but
vides for a separation of activcc nce AE @ Bs ; i There is little need for a home "this size without children so notice that two of the bedrooms,
are all in the back so that the children as they grow and entertain can keep pretty much to themselves. They can even leave the house through the front door without bothering mother and father if they don't wish to be disturbed. There are three bedrooms and the two outside ones are about the same size. The one in back has a private bath and the second bath is convenient to the i other two bedrooms as well as to guests. The bedrooms all have large closets with sliding doors, and speaking of closets, there are 13 in all. There is a dining room and another snack bar: or breakfast nook off the kitchen, The laundry and furnace room are sepa-| rate and there are four doors] leading to and from the former.| The bath in the back is handy for guests using the game room as| well as a step saver for mother in the kitchen.

Higher Receipts Put Pressure on
Livestock Prices
CHICAGO, Jan. 12 (UP)—At; least partially responsible for the pressure in livestock prices this week was the increased receipts. In the hog market, which closed 35 to 50 cents lower, receipts were the largest for any week since February, 1944. Cattle supplies were 25 per cent larger than last week, well above the corresponding week a year ago, and larger than any week in all of 1951. Demand centered on choice and prime yearlings and | light steers weighing up to 1150 pounds. Another bearish factor in the week's hog market was the ticklish labor situation prevailing among packinghouse workers.
