J IGHTS are going to burn later than usual at Inc; - this month. Even with spring ready- -towear stacked high in the big mail order house this. plant “overtime” has nothing to do with supplying public demand. Beginning tomorrow—as soon es the women employees put aside their regular work—two of four Red Cross “Home Care of the Sick and What to Do in Case of Mass Disaster” courses will operi. -

Lane Bryant is the first In the industrial field to offer this course to its employees, Planned particularly for those whose time is limited, it is being given right on the plant premises. Y ot » THE COMPANY is providing a lunch for those registered in the courses at 5:30 p. m. preceding each session of the seven two-hour lessons, as well as the text book and the pin which will go to each person who satisfactorily completes the course.

The opening classes—one in the cafeteria, the other in the hospital—will begin at 6 p. m. tomorrow, and meet on subsequent Thursdays and Mondays. The second pair of classes beginning Tuesday will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Classes are limited to 14 persons each.

Response has been “wonderful,” according to Miss Rita Molt RN, company nurse, who is directing the project. “We have a full enrdlilment and more than 35 other girls have signed up. Additional classes will have to be arranged.” Miss Molt who heads the “teachers,” will be assisted by seven other nurses, official Red Cross instructors.
