Many Spencer jackets (named after a poet, not a corset company) will be shown. They are the little

short jackets that may come to the waistline or be -

chopped off just under the bustline. Dresses will show a definite trend tofard higher

classic in this decade as the polo coat was in the '20s, but the new princess coats and belted coats will gain momentum for spring. Dimensional fabrics will give new texture interest in both coats and suits. There will be boucles, slubbed shantung weaves, lacy tweeds and a spring version of the poodle cloth. Suits will be seen in three distinct silhouets— the boxy suit, the doll suit and the molded jacket suit. Queen of the collections, however, will be the
