ginning at 7 p. m. on the opening night. : Highlights will include talks by missionaries from the foreign fields of India, Burma and Af rica. Poster and attendance con tests are being planned to keep interest at a high pitch.

Rev. Martin to Speak Among the active missionaries

Jorn Cléugh Martin, son and grandson of missionaries to India, who has served the Baptist CHurch in that country for the past 16 years. He recently was stationed in the Cumbum field in India which extends over 2000! square miles and embraces 250 villages with more than 15,000 Baptist inhabitants.

Rev. Martin came to the United States for his co}lege and seminary education ' served rural churches in New York State before returning to India as a missionary. The conference program will illustrate the<theme: “The Gates

of ‘Hell Shall Not Prevail.”
