By DEAN H. ROBINSON
This is the third in our present ||
series of flve ranch-style homes by William A. Griffiths, prominent ‘Detroit designer. It is another three bedrooms and bath design, without basement. The oblong shape and: future garage are other economy features. The exterior would look attractive if made of wood siding or cinder blocks as long as the ‘outside planting box was retained in brick. : More and more people are asking for houses with kitchen and utilities in the front fo that the entire back yard can be used for private outdoor living. This design with a door at the left of the Hving room for easy access to the back makes just this thought possible. The living room is large and the entire back wall is glass so
you could almost bring the out-!
gide in, and if you had the back beautifully landscaped, it would make more than a name out of the words “Picture Window.” No-

ture window, too, overlooking the same area. The three bedrooms are exceptionally well planned with large wardrobe type closets with sliding doors in each one. The bath is
for guests as well as members of the family. ois The heater room is off the utility room and is designed for one of the new gas or oll furnaces. The whole work area is well planned and it will not take many steps for the busy housewife to answer either the front or back doorbell.
