A lot of younger boys and girls let Santa trim their tree after
they jump into bed on Christmas Eve, but other families traditionally let the children help Santa by decorating the tree “family style.” Even though Santa does it, the children who make some of the trimmings themselves get a lot of pleasure from it, and it gives Santa more time for other things. :
He is so busy! Here is one way that you can make a string of sparkly ornaBuy a pack or two of colered sipping straws and cut each
Knot the end of. a heavy thread or a string with a needle and
pierce the side of the two sections of straws right in the middle. This gives a cross effect. Next thread through a straw segment, then add two more cross sections. Actually you can thread them on the ‘string in any arrangement, although a definite pattern carried all {}ithe way through makes the “string” more attractive.
