MRS. MELVIN K. GOODE, 11th District president, is challenging Mrs. Murrey Harris, Seventh District president, in the contest. To date six 11th District units have reached their quota. They are Bell Telephone, Southeastern, Hayward - Barcus, Northeast, Charles Young and MclIlvaineKothe. All units reaching their quota on or before Dé¢. 26 receive 15 merit points, For 10 or more junior members enrolled before that date 20 merit points will be given. The auxiliary is “seeking membership strength to meet Its responsibilities as America’s largest women’s patriotic - organization. With the present Korean War, rearmament program and continued disruption of normal life, demands are increasing for the organ{zation’s rehabilitation, child welfare, national security and Americanism activities,

The Memorial Unit choral group will sing carols at the holiday party and regular meeting at 7:30 p. m. tomorrow in the Hotel Antlers. Special guests will be Mrs, Eva Brown, Bloomington, department -president, and Mrs, John Kundrat, department secretary.

The Robison-Ragsdale Post and Auxiliary will hold its Christmas party at 3 p.m. this afternoon in the World War Memorial.

An old fashioned Christmas in an American home will be the theme of the party with Commander John Hickey and Unit President Mrs. Carl Gates acting as Mr, and Mrs. Amer4ca, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Luke Snyder are making arrangements, The auxiliary will have its annual Christmas luncheon and gift exchange at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 27 in the home of Mrs. William Satterfield, 3704 Station St. Assisting her will be Mesdames Clarence Knipp, Homer = Asher, Hickey and Frank Collman. Special guests will be the junior auxiliary and tiny tots, Guests of honor will be Mrs, Alvin Iske, Billings Hospital chairman; Mrs, Star Brown, Cold Spring Hospital chairman, and Mrs. Clara Swango, district rehabilitation chairman.
