8 and 40 Dinner Set
Marion County Salon, 8 and 40, will hold a Christmas dinner meeting at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday in the Fairbanks Memorial Post VFW home, 1608 Park Ave. Mrs. Martin Collins, social chairman, is in charge of the dinner. Mrs. Melvin Goode, music chairman, has planned a mugical program to be given by entertainers. There will be a Christmas gift exchange and gifts will be brought for the supply shelf at Sunnyside Sanitorium. Mrs. Cecil Hartman will talk on the tuberculosis seal-hooths sponsored by the Salon in the downtown area.
Club to Hear African Talk
Mrs. Blanche Shaw Brenner will talk on “Adventures in Africa” for members of the Story-a-Month Club and guests at 7:30 p. m. Saturday in Rauh Memorial Library. Her lecture will be illustrated with colored motion pictures taken by her husband, Charles Brenner. The couple recently
