when his car went off a curve at 4700 E. Kessler Blvd. and struck a tree. Jesse (Woody) Ward, father of two, died of a heart attack in Jackson, Mich.
When sheriff's Capt. Morris Settles went to the camp to notify Mrs. Harris of the accident he asked another resident of the court, Mrs. Christina Ward, to accompany him. . Unable to find Mrs. Harris and her son who had boarded a bus for town a short-time before, Capt. Settles was leaving the court when Mrs. Ward was informed that her husband had died of a heart attack. Mr, Ward, an employee of the Ellis Trucking Co. left here Thursday to drive to, Jackson. He registered in ‘a hotel there vesterday and was found dead by hotel employees in the afternoon. {He is survived by his wife and {two small daughters.
