JNPIANAPOLIS clubwomen have been spotlighted nationally in the Modern Minute Women's blood donor

recruitment drive.

They also-are on the spot.

If they don't provide leadership to meet the emer-

gency need for lifegiving blood for wounded GIs in Korea, another plan will be devised. The blood drive itself will be continned. CARE PACKAGES, which have ben prepared for Korean relief, include woolen blankets, cotton textiles, food, woolen

suiting, underwear and knitting wool. Contributions will be pooled to provide complete packages. Deliveries will be arranged by CARE to orphanages, refugee camps and other relief centers on the basis of the greatest need. Delivery will be made in time for Christmas. Donations, either individual or by club groups, should be sent to CARE for Korea, 20 Broad St., New York 5, N. Y.

Local Boy Wins School Award

Times Special POTTSTOWN, Pa. Nov. 15 —Robert N. Bowen Jr., sophomore at Hill School here, has received the John Kieran Cup annually given to the boy who has shown the greatest improvement in inter-form baseball in 1951. Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Bowen, 4504 Park Ave. The prize was awarded at the junior prize day exercises. A sophomore, Robert belongs to the school baseball, football and basketball teams and has received many other honorary awards.
