Candy Rally

A circus candy rally, sponsored by Indianapolis Camp Fire Girls, will begin Saturday. Mayor Bayt will open the rally at 2 p. m. in Ipalco Hall with a brief talk. Reid “Chuckles” Chapman from Radio Station WISH will act as master of ceremonies. “Riley Poems” will be given by

Special hair styles characteristic of the period were designed by B, F. Michtom, creator of the Shirley Temple doll and currently the Toni doll. Indianapolis CounClub will give a

urday night, Nov. 17, in the clubhouse. The musical revue will be composed of men and women who belong to the club Ms. Kenneth V. Christena is the director, and Mrs. Louise Sparks wrote the music. Mrs. Christena did the choreography, and Mrs. Sparks and Mrs. Christena the continuity. The party will begin at 9p. m and the show will be presented at 10:30 d'clock. Supper will

be served afterward. Harold Emlein is in charge of lights and sound, and Mrs. Emlein,

wardrobe department. Roy James is the stage manager. His crew includes William Schroeder, Jack Lloyd and William Garland. Don McMahill will furnish the stage.
