Herbert C. Baker, a veteran Pennsylvania <-Railroad engineer® died last night his home, 1302 N. Linwood Ave. A native of Gosport, he moved here 52 years ago and has been with the railroad from 1900 until he retired in 1947. Mr. Baker was a member of Brookside Odd Fellow Lodge No. 44 and the Brotherhood of Railroad Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are the wife, Mrs, Clara Wetzel Baker; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Chapman, St, Louis, and a brother, Fred, Maywood, Ill. Services will be at 2 p. m. Friday In the Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel, with burial in Crown Hill.
