Reception Tech Gym fo Be Town Square
Planned for
Violinist Ruggiero Ricci, violinist, will be honored guest at
the annual reception of
the Women's Committee of the. Indianapolis State Symphony Society. The event will be held in the
social room at the Murat Theater following the concert next Sunday afternoon. Mr. Ricei will be featured soloist with the brchesira next Sunday and Nov. Mrs. es Latham, chair-
man of the social committee, announces that invitations have been extended to than a ‘thousand members of the Women's Committee throughout the state, as well as to Dr. and Mrs. Fabien Sevitzky and members of the orchestra and their wives. Seven PTA Units Plan Programs
Seven local PTA units have scheduled meetings Tuesday through Saturday.
The Glenns Valley PTA
will fold a.tea at 1:30 p. m. Friday honoring mothers of first, second and third grade pupils. Mrs. Virgil Liggett is general chairman.
Hickory College PTA will meet at 9 a. m. Saturday for a rummage sale in the school. A square dance is scheduled at 8 p. m. Saturday by the Township House PTA. Max Wilson will call. The group will sponsor a paper drive from Saturday through Nov. 17.
Blue ribbon awards will be presented at the 7:45 p. m. meeting of the Pleasant Run PTA Tuesday. C. F. Kohlmeyer will speak. : = = = “MUTUAL Understanding Between Parents, Faculty and Students,” will be the topic of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Liddle at the. 7:30 p. m. meeting of the Speedway Study group Thursday. Mrs. Leonard R. Trout, 5301 Woodside Dr., will be hostess for the 11:30 a. m. meeting of the Crooked Creek Study group. Mrs. Jenny Dempster will speak on “Should Parents Help With Homework.” The fall festival and dinner of the Lawrence Grade PTA is scheduled at 5:30 p. m. Friday. Crooked Creek has an 8 p. m. card party scheduled Friday.
Costume Frolic Set _
Piglet aT Riverside Roller Rink Nov. 24. It will be the scene of a Thanksgiving costume frolic to, be given at 8 p. m. by the All-City Horizon Club of Indianapolis Camp Fire Girls. Guests will come in Thanksgiving costumes and prizes will be awarded for the funniest prettiest and “cleverest. The Horizon Club at Trinity Lutheran church, fed by Mrs, Walter Terry and Mrs. H. E.
