Indianapolis Hebrew Con‘gregation, will give a weekly series of book reviews starting’ Nov. 6 at 10:30 a. m. in the Temple. . This will be the fourteenth vear these, K reviews, sponsored
by the Temple Sisterhood, have been offered to the public free of charge. The series will open with two reviews of best sellers, “From Here to Eternity” by James Jones and “The Caine Mutiny” by Herman Wouk. Other reviews scheduled are “April Snow” by Lillian Budd on Nov. 13; “Lie Down ‘in Darkness” by William Styron on Nov. 20; and “One Foot in America” by Yuri Suhl on Nov: 27.

Soroptimist Unit to Mark 30th Year
Soroptimist Club of Indianapolis will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a luncheon "at 12:15 p. m. Wednesday in the Hotel Lincoln, Simultaneous celebrations will be held by 478 member clubs of the American Federation of Soroptimists in Canada, United States, ‘Alaska, Hawaii, Brazil and Cuba, Each year at the celebration a birthday penny collection of a penny per member is taken for the International Fellows ship Fund. . Events Set : By Skaters
Two Indiana Vassar Club skating groups announce their opening dates. The Family Fliers will begin the season at 5:30 p. m. Tuesday. It will bey the second year of the group's existence, The Gay Blades will skate at the same time Thursday. Both groups are scheduled in the Coliseum and will be on the ice for a two-hour period. The sessions end in March. Proceeds will be used for the benefit of the Vassar Club's scholarship fund. The Fliers is a family group, and the Gay Blades, in its 12th year, is limited to those over 18 years old. Mrs. H. Maurice Angell is general chairman of the projects.
