She Killed, Hu

By United Press WAUKEGAN, Ill, Oct. 18 — A bridegroom of three months charged today that his attractive blond wife is still in love with the 53-year-old married lover she killed two years ago. A jury deliberated only 41 minutes before acquitting her of a murder charge in July, 1949. She testified that she had sexual relations with her middleaged lover, but tried to break off the affair when she learned he was married. Took Pistol Along She admitted she took along a pistol on their last date, in April, 1949, but said it was only in hopes of frightening him into leaving her alone. They grappled in his parked car, she said, and the gun went off accidentally. At the time of her acquittal, the attractive choir singer said she intended to finish high school and become a missionary. Last July 12, she was secretly
