Ship Operators Gtanted Pay Boost

WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 (UP) - The Wage Stabilization ' Board approved a minimum 8£39-a-month pay raise for CIO ship radio operators yesterday in the face of a nation-wide shipping tie-up. The board voted R-4, with indusry members dissenting, to grant the full increase won by theradio men last July. But it made the increase retroactive only to Sept. 1 instead of last June as called for in the contract. i
