Hospital Unit

Arranges Card Party

The board of the Flower Mission Tuberculosis Hospital will give a card party . at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday

in the Riviera Club. Mrs. A. G. Smith is the chairman. ™

The newest fashions will be presented by Wasson's in a style show to precede the card event. Committees planning the party include Mrs. Leonard Murchison, prizes: Mrs. Andrew F. Ross assisted by Mrs. C. M. Turner, candy; Mrs. Albert Buchanan, téa table. " n ~ ALL THE PRESIDENTS of the various clubs which maintain rooms at the hospital are invited to assist. Members of

the board include Mrs. D.-S. Meditch, president, and Mesdames Alvin Johnson, Paul Krier, Hugh Carpenter, Fred

Noerr, John Garrettson, Warren Gibson, James Makin,

Frank Truitt, A. J. Hueber and Fred Duckwall. Proceeds of the card party will be used for buying streptomycin and other new drugs now used in the fight against tuberculosis. Tickets may be obtained by calling Mrs. Smith.
