In all cases the number represents the active membership of the basic ynits. It is the plan of the Minute Women to secure blood donation: pledges from each club member. Each club member in turn will secure a “Buddy” donor. “Buddy” donors are non-club members recruited for the drive. Person from 18 years through 59 years old will be accepted as blood donors. one as a substitute and ore as a “Buddy.” All pledges will be reported in The Times as standings change from time to time during the 30day donor recruitment pragram. To count for the group standing pledges must be in the Red Cross by 5 p. m. Nov. 2. Donations to be made after that date will count if the pledge is recorded. All club presidents were told to {be certain that the name of the {group to receive credit for the {donation is written at the top of [the pledge card. In the case of | pledges made by telephone the person making the call must be certain that she gives the name of her group to the Red Cross operator.
